As many around the world are currently celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing, I thought I’d take the opportunity to gather a selection of my space themed digital, surreal and future art. This anniversary has given us another opportunity to consider some of man’s greatest scientific and inspirational achievements and ponder what it all means for each of us.
Alongside the Apollo missions there’s been so much to inspire, and contemplate for the ‘bigger picture’ of life, the universe and everything. The Voyager space craft, for example, launched in the early ’70s are still actively carrying out science billions of miles from earth and set to reach beyond the last influences of our own sun.
I hope you enjoy these digital artworks, which are my personal attempt at expressing in digital art form, various aspects of the inspirational nature of time, astronomy, physics, space and space exploration.
